The 169th Composite Squadron hostied a Squadron Leadership School on 05-06 March 2005.  This school is designed to provide the student a solid idea what it is to be a squadron member.

12 - 16 hours of Instruction include topics like

• The CAP organizational structure
• Operations
• Emergency Services
• Counter Drug
• Communications
• How to present a professional image
• The squadron meeting
• How to correspond with the Air Force and CAP
• How the Air Force and Civil Air Patrol work together
• Cadet Programs
• Aerospace Education

Completion of the SLS fulfills one of the requirements for Level II completion.
